Children's Safety
The club has a few rules to safeguard the safety of all the children
- We require the behaviour of all the children to be excellent.
- We expect children to carry out instructions given by staff for their own good, especially when walking/travelling to or from the club.
- We ask that they keep their shoes on at all times as we are not the only ones that use the hall and drawing pins may have been discarded. We cannot always prevent accidents from kneeling or sitting but we can do our best to protect their feet.
- There are a few items in the building that we ask children not to touch or play with. All light switches, plugs, fire extinguishers, flowers and shrubs in the out door area and the television, play station and the karaoke machine
- There are a few places that are out of bounds to the children and they are the kitchen, (for safety reasons) and the den.
- A child must not under any circumstances open the outside door; answer the doorbell or telephone, there will be a member of staff to do that.
- We expect all children to treat all toys and equipment with respect.
- Children are requested not to bring Toys and Equipment from home or it will be taken away and given to the parent/carer at the end of the day.
- No bullying, No discrimination, No swearing, No spitting and No violence, towards staff or other children.
- To show respect to staff, other children and to their own parents.
- If we have a child who constantly does not abide by these rules we may be forced to terminate that child's membership. Deposit cheques will not be returned.
- For good behaviour a child will be rewarded by verbal praise, by given privileges i.e. extra responsibly, the opportunity to be first, a certificate at the end of the term and one free session at Mascot (up to 2 Hours)
